Putting Community First: Rutter Green Estate Agency Celebrates Wigan’s Community Champions

Some businesses talk about community. Others roll up their sleeves and get involved. As the countdown to the Wigan Business Awards gathers pace, we have been celebrating the people and organisations who do exactly that.

Ahead of the Awards ceremony on Friday 6 November, the finalists for the Community Impact Award 2026 came together for an afternoon of celebration and networking with fellow Wigan businesses. It was a chance to recognise the work these amazing organisations do every day, often quietly and often with very little fanfare.
